maybe,

if it was meant that $\mathbb{A} = f(\mathbb{R}) $, where
$f:\mathbb{R}\rightarrow\mathbb{C}$
$x \mapsto  f(x)=(x-1)+ix=a+bi$

I'm a bit confused by the notation $\mathbb{A}=\{ z\in \mathbb{C}:z=x+ix-1\forall x\in \mathbb{R}\}$
