It is not about integration, but just about understanding...

$g(x) = \int^{1}_{0}\frac{x^2+t^2}{t}dt=x^2\int^{1}_{0}\frac{1}{t}dt+\int^{1}_{0}\frac{t^2}{t}dt=ax^2+b$
